These are hoodoos or toadstool rock formations at a popular spot in southern Utah. I had not seen any night shots of them under the Milky Way so I thought I would head out and give it a run. I will admit, hiking out there at 2am alone is a tad bit creepy, but I was well pleased with the photographic opportunity.
